NEW PARTNERSHIP: LUG X WINGSTOP


Toronto, Ontario, Canada // Today, LUG Sports Group Inc. is proud to announce it’s newest partnership with Wingstop Canada, the fan-favourite chicken wing chain known for bold flavors and crave-worthy combos. This spring, Wingstop Canada became the Official Chicken Wing Partner of LUG Sports.

The first phase of the partnership will see Wingstop-branded team jerseys debuting in 10 select cities, each repping a different Wingstop flavor—from Lemon Pepper and Mango Habanero to Hickory Smoked BBQ. These limited-edition jerseys will be available to LUG players during the jersey draft for the summer hockey 2025 season.

To kick off the partnership, LUG x Wingstop Canada is giving away “Free Wings for a Year” in a social media contest via Instagram and Tik Tok. Players will also be able to redeem in-store player-exclusive offers at select Wingstop Canada locations.

“This one just makes sense,” said Ray Abramson & Ethan Wright, Co-Presidents of LUG Sports. “Summer hockey and post-game wings? That’s basically religion to us. We couldn’t be more excited about this partnership.” 

In addition to contests and custom jerseys, Wingstop Canada will be providing free wings at select games and cities throughout the summer. Players can expect exclusive flavour drops, surprise pop-ups, and a game day experience unlike anything LUG has done before.

The partnership launches ahead of the LUG Summer Hockey season, which began on May 4 and runs through August across Canada & the U.S.
