Where unextraordinary athletes compete for an extraordinarily good time
Established in 2015, the WAG Cup Championship Tournament is the pinnacle of the LUG Hockey season. This marquee event features championship teams from all LUG divisions in a Memorial Cup style elimination tournament to crown the overall LUG Hockey Champion.
Players, fans, friends, and WAG's then toast the season with a huge party with cheap drinks, laughs, and all around good times!
TOURNAMENT DETAILS
This is the last big rip before exams. Where teams from across Canada & the U.S descend on one LUG city to tear it up with friends across the LUG and throw down at the legendary WAG Cup Afterparty.
Roster eligibility
- All participating players must be registered with LUG for the current LUG season. No ringers!
Qualifying Teams
The winning team of each region will be invited to the WAG Cup. In the event that a Division Champion cannot attend the tournament, the following tie-breaking procedure will be in place to determine the next eligible team to represent that division at the tournament.
1. Division Champion
2. Finals Runner Up
3. 1st place regular season team
4. 2nd, 3rd,4th..etc.
THE OFFICIAL WAG CUP AFTERPARTY
The biggest event on LUG's calendar, The 7th Annual WAG Cup Afterparty will be held after the game. Location TBD.
TICKETS
All members of participating teams at the WAG Cup will receive FREE tickets to the Afterparty. All LUG players receive a special offer via email for a discount.
