The LUG OA Hockey League is where competitive hockey lives on — past college, into careers, and through new chapters of life. With a full season of games, stats, and real competition LUG OA is for the beauty’s to keep having good times with friends playing the game you love.

LOCATIONS | 50+ locations in Canada and the U.S. Find a League. |
Season | Fall-Winter 🏒 September-April |
GAMES | 22 games guaranteed (20 regular season + 2-4 playoff games). Varies by day. |
GAME FORMAT | 13-15-15 run time periods. All games with 2 x Certified Officials. |
OVERTIME & SO | 3 minute, run time overtime periods and SO (if necessary and time permits). |
PLAYOFFS | First round is a playoff series. 2 playoff games guaranteed (excluding wild cards). |
GAME DAYS | Consistent game days and times throughout the season (occasional adjustments based on league needs). |
GAME TIMES | All games start before 11:00 PM |
TEAM SIZE | 15 players per team (14F + 1G). Teams can have more than 15 players. |
HOW TO JOIN | Team Captain: Register 15+ players. Team Player: Register for your Team Captain's team. Free Agents & Groups: Register on your own or as a small group and play together. |

SKILL LEVELS | Elite: Top players with serious experience — NCAA, U Sports, Club, Jr. A, Semi-Pro. A Division: Athletic players looking for high-level games — Jr. B/C, AAA. B Division: Competitive players who love the game — AA or A backgrounds. C Division: Average players who love to compete — Select or House League. D Division: Newer players, ODR Legends — Play the game, get reps, have fun. W1 Division Higher level women’s hockey. W2 Division: Recreational, laid-back, fun-focused games. |
