Job Opportunities - LUG Sports - Marketing Coordinator (Internship) - Careers & Full Time Roles

JOIN OUR TEAM: CONTENT MARKETING COORDINATOR (SUMMER INTERNSHIP)

Be the Face of LUG. Fuel the Hype.
At LUG, we’re not just running rec leagues, we’re building a lifestyle for over 20,000 young adults across 50+ cities in North America. From hockey to flag football to unforgettable socials, we’re the go-to brand for students and grads looking to Keep the Dream Alive — both on and off the ice.

We’re now hiring a Content Marketing Coordinator (Internship) to become the face of LUG this summer. You’ll be on the ground at games, on camera daily, and constantly repping the LUG lifestyle through TikToks, Reels, and IG Stories that entertain, engage, and go viral. Think of it as your chance to blend content creation, influencer energy, and sports culture into one unforgettable internship.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll report to the Sr. Marketing Manager and be our frontline storyteller. This is not your typical desk marketing job — you’ll be filming yourself, hyping up teams, posting live from games, creating trend-based content, and showing what it’s really like to be part of the LUG community. If you love being on camera, are addicted to TikTok trends, and have that creator mentality, this is your moment.

This is a 4-month paid internship (Full Time, May–August 2025) with performance bonuses and potential for full-time opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Be the on-camera personality for LUG on TikTok and Instagram
  • Film, edit, and post daily content: behind-the-scenes, live game updates, mic'd up players, lifestyle content, and trend-based videos
  • Attend games, tournaments, and events to capture and publish real-time content
  • Manage and grow LUG’s presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
  • Collaborate with LUG teams, players, and influencers to drive hype, shareable moments, and community engagement
  • Stay on top of viral trends and brainstorm creative ideas that match LUG’s brand and tone
  • Track performance of content, report wins, and refine strategy weekly
  • Represent LUG’s brand voice: fun, self-aware, high-energy, and student-first

WHO YOU ARE

  • You’re a creator. You’ve filmed and edited videos (CapCut, IG Reels, TikTok, etc.), and you know how to hook attention in the first 3 seconds
  • You’re confident on camera and have that micro-influencer vibe (bonus if you already have a following)
  • You love sports, especially hockey, and know how to hype up a moment
  • You live and breathe TikTok and Instagram — not just scrolling, but creating
  • You’re not afraid to approach people, mic them up, or jump into a trend
  • You’re fun, outgoing, and can work independently while staying on brand
  • Experience playing in LUG or a similar league is a huge bonus
