Stand Up Guy Wins Trip To Snow Jam

If there's one thing we know about Matthew Georgiadis, it's that this underage beauty can leave his fake ID at home - he just won a free trip to SnowJam at Mont Tremblant courtesy of LUG Hockey and Campus Vacations. Quebec is home of the poutine, the 18-year legal limit, and what will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the best weekends of Matt's life. Known for being an 'all around great guy' and ripping an extra chest day whenever he can, Matt anchors the first line defensive unit for the Peter North Stars of the King Division. With only 2 points in 5 games this season, Matt can best be described as your typical leader in the dressing room. When asked to make a statement about their teammate,  Luke Andrew (D) and Michael Mance (C) commented, "Great locker room presence. Probably leads the league in laughter and good times." before taking the ice last Tuesday night.

We caught up with Matthew to find out his thoughts on the league, wheeling, and how his boys will Apres Ski at Tremblant.

Matt, let us be the first to tell you, it's a damn good thing those chalets have fire alarms! Congratulations big guy!

Favorite part of LUG so far: The boys, no doubt.

Are your wheels better on ice or at the bar? I really hope at the bar, the jets on the ice are nothing to write home about.

How would you describe your playing style? Comparable to Dusty Buff

Have you been on any Campus Vacation trip before? If yes, which one? Not yet, really excited for SnowJam!

Ski or Snowboard? I’ve only ever skied before, but snowboarding looks cool.

How do you and the boys Après Ski? We’re all about having fun. Couple drinks, start a fire in someone's kitchen. Maybe go to SeaWorld, take our pants off.
