  • LUG Summer Hockey typically play a consistent day and time slot(s) throughout the summer. While we do our best to keep the majority of games at their scheduled times and Home Rink, some changes may be necessary to finalize the schedule and division structure or to accommodate playoffs, if the league has an odd number of teams, & during Showdown Weeks (in July & August).
  • As a league built by and for players, we make these decisions with the best season experience in mind. If teams have any questions about the schedule or season, our support team is happy to help.
  • No games over long weekends or on statutory holidays.

We've listed the typical arena, days, and times we play but new locations, days, and times may be added based on league needs.

• 15 players per team minimum (14 + 1G). Teams can have more than 15 players. All players will get a jersey. Any teams over 15, the players need to register and jerseys will be shipped at that time.
• Upper Division: Athletic players looking for high-level games. 

  Lower Division: Average players who still want to compete.

• Jerseys
  • All teams receive LUG Vapor Lite Jerseys & Matching Socks
• Live Jersey Draft 
  • Jerseys are drafted in a Live Jersey Draft
  • The Live Draft takes place the week before the Season Launch
  • The Draft Order is determined on (1) the speed at which their team is registered & (2) teams must have a minimum of 13/15 players registered by the draft deadline 
• Extra Jerseys 
  • Teams can have more than 15 players. All players will receive a jersey
  • Team Jersey Packs come with 16 total units (15 P, 1 G). In order to receive more than 16 units, your team must be registered above 16 players by the Extra Jersey Deadline or their jerseys will be delayed
• Free Agent Frenzy
  • Free Agents are placed onto teams during Free Agent Frenzy after the Jersey Draft
  • Free Agents are usually limited in number and teams should not expect to be filled by Free Agents
  • Teams with less than 15 players are candidates to have free agents placed on their team during Free Agent Frenzy. Pending FA availibility. All teams are responsible for having at least 15 players on their team.

• Code of Conduct
  • We have a zero tolerance policy for violations of our Code of Conduct
  • There is no alcohol, drinking, smoking, vaping, or being intoxicated at games. This will result in team and player removal from then league. 
  • Players and/or teams may be removed from the league for actions detrimental to the league including abusive or racism language, damaging the facility, theft, alcohol or drugs, among others.
• Forfeits & Defaults
  • Teams who do not attend their games will be fined $50 (paid to your opponent). Multiple defaults will result in the loss of games and playoff eligibility. The goal is to play hockey!
