FOR MANY STUDENTS, THE DREAM OF PLAYING COMPETITIVE SPORTS STOPS WHEN THEY STEP ONTO A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

It's a sad but true reality.

There are a number of reasons why this happens.

First and foremost, it's an issue of capacity. There simply is not enough space on NCAA, Club, or Varsity teams to accommodate all of the athletes who would be interested in playing.

Secondly, it's a skill issue. The large majority of athletes are not skilled enough to play on these teams (especially if the NCAA is going to maintain its status as the best amateur leagues in the world).

And most importantly, the majority of athletes stop playing competitive sports when they get to college due to a lack of a viable league options. That's where LUG Sports comes in. 

While not every student athlete is destined to be an NCAA or U Sports star playing games at the highest level, every college student deserves the chance to play in a league and on a team that matters. 

LUG was founded by students for students in the hopes of giving all student athletes on campus a real league experience and a real team to be a part of. LUG is a league that is open and available to everyone, at all skill levels.

Whether you're an all-star player who decided to focus on biology and play sports on the side, or a try-hard who just wants to get out on the field, diamond, ice, or grid-iron with a good group of friends, LUG Sports Leagues are created to give the average college athlete the chance to keep playing and Keep the Dream Alive. 

Since 2009, LUG has been the leader in curated college sports leagues creating social league experiences for over 20,000 student athletes across Canada and the United States in over 30 cities.
