The 3rd Annual WAG Cup Tournament is this Saturday March 24th!

The work for The WAG began in the off-season and now it's finally here. Those early 6 am runs. 2-a-day workouts. Beers with a raw egg to get you going. Team stretching sessions followed by hours of video with the Bench Boss. In season strategy sessions. Early October scouting events. Months of reckless chirping your opponents...The work has been put in and for a select few teams, it might just pay off. To everyone else, you always knew this was a rebuilding year.

This year, The WAG Cup is the largest ever. An 8-team single-elimination tournament featuring the winners from each LUG Division. We've got Team Iceland looking to capture their 2nd WAG and 3rd straight for the Aberdeen Division. St. George is sending the NARPs and Snow Ploughs 2.0 who have punched their first ticket to the Big Dance. Laurier is being represented by regular season champs, The Fighting Amish, Hess is sending their Champions, The Bardown Beauties, Brock is hosting their finals tonight with the Circle Derks and Alaskan Pipelines battling it out. Byward is also duking it out with C-Eng and Bookhockey in Game 2 of the finals tonight. Finally, Windsor, with 4 teams left in the playoffs it's anyones guess but we know those law lads will be out representing.

The tournament is capped off by a banger of an event at The Belfort where LUG has rented the entire venue to throw down a massive LUG themed shaker. There will be booths and bottles for participating teams and as always, entry is FREE for PLUGS.

Friends and fans are highly encouraged to attend. This event is all about the LUG Community, we hope to see you there!

The Finals will be held for the first time on campus. We encourage any player, friend, or fan to come out for the game and watch what will surely be an intense, tight-knit contest.
