The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here...LUG CHEL Season I officially kicks off at 8pm EST TONIGHT. Over 120 teams are competing for the big money and for the pride, and we are extremely excited to get things going.

Turns out it's not just for bragging rights...

LUG PROFESSIONAL GAMER

The WINNERS of XBOX and PS4 PRO divisions will be offered the Prestigious Title of "Professional LUG Gamer". That’s right we’re sponsoring a few of the Lads to be real Pros. This means a paid sponsorship to rep LUG on the Big Stage. Wicked Swag, a cash payout, and entry into tournaments. You'll finally be able to tell your pals you've made it. NOTABLE SEASON I GAMERS

• Los Angeles Kings up and comer Matt Luff will be taking his skills off the ice onto XBOX One in our Pro Division. Here's hoping his skill translates to the LUG World.
• 2 x Team Canada World Jr.'s standout Jared McIsaac will be looking to add some virtual tucks to his Hockey DB resume. 
• Justin Turner, ranked #31 in the World for NHLWP will be hoping he can have similar success in LUG while getting chirped relentlessly by some of LUG's finest. 
• Dallas Barrs, Darthchel1 said in his player bio "CCL CHAMP. THAT IS ALL". We don't know or care what the CCL is, but we love this kids enthusiasm and have him picked as our underdog XBOX Open sleeper. 
• Noah Chaikof, PS4 Pro League, we heard that he won an amateur tournament that pumped his tires prior to elevating his game and joining the PRO league here at LUG. We'll see if he's ready...
• Ryan Migliaccio has got a decent following for his up and coming eSports career but we have a feeling this might be a little bit tougher than beating up on kids on Rookie Mode online.
