  • 24+ games guaranteed (22 regular season + 2-4 playoff games)
  • Game Details
    • Home Arena: Yost Arena
    • Additional Arenas: Ann Arbor Ice Cube,  Veteran's Memorial
    • Days: Sundays & Mondays
    • Game Times: 6:00pm+
  • Game days, times, or arenas may shift as needed to finalize the schedule and playoffs.
  • We publish schedules as far in advance as possible to provide players with visibility on the season. 
  • We will do our best to keep games consistent. If teams have any questions our support team is happy to help.
  • 15 players per team minimum (14 + 1G). Teams can have more than 15 players. All players will get a jersey. Any teams over 15, the players need to register and jerseys will be shipped at that time.
  • Open to all skill levels. Where possible divisions will be created after registration closes.
    • Upper Division: Athletic players looking for high-level games
    • Mid Division: Competitive players who love the game
    • Lower Division: Average players who still want to compete
    • Rookie Division: New players, ODR Legends - play the game, get reps, have fun
  • Division Notes:
    • Women can play in any division
    • To ensure the best competitive balance, divisions and skill levels may be modified based on registration demand

  • Jerseys
    • All teams receive LUG Vapor Lite Jerseys & Matching Socks
  • Live Jersey Draft 
    • Jerseys are chosen in a Live Jersey Draft
    • The Live Draft takes place the week before the Season Launch
    • The Draft Order is determined on (1) the speed at which their team is registered & (2) teams must have a minimum of 13/15 players registered by the draft deadline 
  • Extra Jerseys 
    • Teams can have more than 15 players. All players will receive a jersey
    • Team Jersey Packs come with 16 total units (15 P, 1 G). In order to receive more than 16 units, your team must be registered above 16 players by the Extra Jersey Deadline or their jerseys will be delayed
  • Free Agent Frenzy
    • Free Agents are placed onto teams during Free Agent Frenzy after the Jersey Draft
    • Free Agents are usually limited in number and teams should not expect to be filled by Free Agents
  • Code of Conduct
    • We have a zero tolerance policy for violations of our Code of Conduct
    • There is no alcohol, drinking, or being intoxicated at games. This will result in team and player removal from then league. 
    • Players and/or teams may be removed from the league for actions detrimental to the league including abusive or racism language, damaging the facility, theft, alcohol or drugs, among others.
  • Forfeits & Defaults
    • Teams who do not attend their games will be fined $50 (paid to your opponent). Multiple defaults will result in the loss of games and playoff eligibility. The goal is to play hockey!
  • The LUG Hockey College season tracks the academic calendar. This means we have no games over Final Exams, Holiday Breaks, Reading Week, Spring Break or other key dates you wouldn't normally want to play (such as the Super Bowl, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day). Leagues that play on Sunday's can play on Sunday evenings at the conclusion of long weekends. See Complete List.
